The crew behind The Wifflot:

Andrew Martinez
CEO & Founder

Andrew always been passionate about sports, especially when it came to baseball. Since he was a child, he played whiffle ball in his back yard with his neighbors. While seeking a larger space to play games, Andrew noticed that there were no whiffle ball fields around. This discovery lead to the the beginning of his vision. At the young age of thirteen years old, Andrew's determination grew to creating multiple whiffle ball fields. In the summer of 2010 the first whiffle ball field was created with an outfield fence & seating. However, something was missing, a unique name to distinguish the fields from others in the area. Inspired by the baseball classic movie Sandlot, The Wifflot was born. With such a simplistic & refreshing brand, The Wifflot was on to becoming a quality family friendly organization. In 2014 The Wifflot had to close its first location in Batavia, IL due to parking capacity & due to it's growth & popularity. The Wifflot is now based in numerous Chicagoland park districts & provides several services such as leagues for all ages, fundraising tournaments for both local & national organizations including non-profits. Andrew has since grown The Wifflot from its simple beginnings, having moved to St. Charles, IL from Boca Raton, FL in 2000 where he has made Illinois his home with the goal of growing The Wifflot into a sucessful & thriving family-oriented business for anyone & everyone to enjoy.
